The Iași International Festival of Literature and Translation (FILIT) announces the names of Romanian authors joining our literary celebration between the 4th and 8th of October 2017, in Iași.
At the FILIT House, the audience will meet writers Dan Alexe, Simona Antonescu, Ioana Bradea, Ruxandra Cesereanu, Andrei Crăciun, Codrin Liviu Cuțitaru, Tudor Ganea, Adrian Georgescu, Ioan T. Morar, Andrei Oișteanu, Marius Oprea, Dora Pavel, Mircea Pricăjan and Bogdan-Alexandru Stănescu.
For 5 days, at the Poetry House, in the center of events will be poets Linda Maria Baros, Lavinia Bălulescu, Emil Brumaru, Rita Chirian, Dan Coman, Teodora Coman, Ana Donțu, Vlad Drăgoi, Mugur Grosu, Ștefan Ivas, Claudiu Komartin, Ștefan Manasia, Vlad Moldovan, Andrei Novac, Cosmin Perța, Tara Skurtu (USA), Robert Șerban, Răzvan Țupa, Mihail Vakulovski and Paul Vinicius.
This year, FILIT is ”building” two new houses, dedicated to fantasty literature and children’s literature. At the Fantasy House we will encounter authors Sebastian A. Corn, Marian Coman, Michael Haulică, Alexandru Lamba and Dănuț Ungureanu, whereas the Childhood House will host events with writers Ana Alfianu, Florin Bican, Ioana Nicolae, Adina Popescu and Iulian Tănase.
Romanian writers outside the country’s borders Jan Cornelius and Dana Grigorcea will take part in special events, and writer Mircea Cărtărescu will take the stage at the ”Vasile Alecsandri” National Theatre of Iași.
FILIT is an annual project funded by the Iași County Council, through the National Museum of Romanian Literature Iași. This year, during its fifth edition, FILIT will reunite hundreds of guests from the international cultural scene in the city of Iași.
